About the speaker <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Olim R. Alimov is a social entrepreneur and SCO region consultant. He has spent 14 years living and working in China. His main expertise is trade, investment, energy and technology focusing on SCO and BRI region. Olim is a founder of Shanghe House (SHH Management Consulting) and \u201cSCOLAR Network\u201d Youth Platform. Olim is also an expert and representative of SCO Business Council Secretariat.<\/p>\n Olim grew up in New York City and received his BA from the United States. He served two years as an analyst and assistant to Secretary Generals Special Representative in the UN Peace-building Office in his home country-Tajikistan. After receiving a Master\u2019s degree in from Peking University in 2011, Olim spent two years representing Sinopec Engineering Group in Moscow, Russia.<\/p>\n Olim was born in Tajikistan, grew up in Russia and the United States.
