On October 24, SCOLAR Network representatives Victoria Khu and Olesia Ermakova were invited to the Dialogue on Youth Solidarity and Engagement to Accelerate the SDGs, which marks the 77th United Nations Day!
This year UN Day celebration is focused on the hopes and aspirations of youth and future generations, while underscoring the importance of intergenerational solidarity and responsibility. The world today is home to 1.8 billion young people between the ages of 10 to 24, the largest generation of young people in history.
SCOLAR’s flagship project, MODEL SCO, was represented at the Global Young Leaders Dialogue booth as one of the finalists of the Wise Demo Campaign by GYLD and the Center for China and Globalization.
United Nations Day, on 24 October, marks the day in 1945 when the UN Charter entered into force. Celebrated every year, UN Day offers an opportunity to amplify our common agenda and reaffirm the purposes and principles of the UN Charter that have guided the international community for the past 77 years.
Happy UN Day!
