What is Model SCO?
“Model SCO” is an educational interactive game (conference-simulation) that simulates the work of the bodies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Since June 2018, “Model SCO” is conducted by students and young professionals interested in studying the functions and operation of the SCO. The game has educational goals and gives delegates the opportunity to study international relations and diplomacy, improve writing skills, communicate with students from other SCO countries, work in a team, lead discussions and develop new ideas and projects
Impact
“Model SCO” is supported by the SCO Prime Ministers and was mentioned in the Joint Communiqué of the 17th and 18th meetings of the Council of Heads of Government in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan), respestively. SCO Ministers of Education expressed support to “Model SCO” during their meeting in 2018 in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).
