Highlights | SCOLAR Hub in St. Petersburg

In 2024–2025, SCOLAR St. Petersburg Hub became an active platform for cultural dialogue, international exchange, and youth initiatives.

In October 2024, representatives of the Hub took part in the Beijing Sister City Youth Camp & BRICS+ Exchange, where they presented their University UNECON and St. Petersburg, joined discussions on youth innovation, and explored China’s cultural heritage — from the Forbidden City to the Great Wall.

In November, the Hub organized India Culture Week, featuring lectures, a quiz, and even a traditional dance workshop led by colleagues from India. The event created a true space for cultural immersion and friendship.

Later in the year, members hosted debates on “Economic Growth vs. Green Technologies”, encouraging students to reflect on the challenges of sustainable development. The interactive format and expert jury made the discussion both engaging and meaningful.

The hub Curator Evgenia Semeiko and hub Founding Curator Gleb Potapov gave an interview on Radio Metro, sharing the story of SCOLAR St. Petersburg, its mission, and future plans.

On September 1, 2025, SCOLAR participated in the UNECON Organization Fair, welcoming new students and introducing them to international opportunities within the Hub.

Over the past year, SCOLAR St. Petersburg has shown how ideas, cultures, and people come together to create lasting impact. The Hub is ready to continue this journey with even more projects and inspiration!
