Curator of SCOLAR Bishkek Hub was awarded by M.S.Imanaliev’s Scholarship

On February 25, 2026, an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the outstanding diplomat and statesman Muratbek Sansyzbaevich Imanaliev was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As part of the roundtable discussion entitled “Muratbek Imanaliev: Professional Path and Contribution to the Development of the SCO,” the event brought together the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations, scholars, veterans of the foreign service, and the jubilee’s family. In their remarks, participants emphasized Imanaliev’s historic role in shaping the foreign policy of independent Kyrgyzstan, as well as his contribution to strengthening regional cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

During the conference, it was also announced that the SCOLAR Bishkek hub is being established at the Diplomatic Academy, marking an important step toward expanding educational and expert opportunities in the fields of international relations and diplomacy.

One of the central highlights of the event was the award ceremony of the Muratbek Imanaliev’s Scholarship for students majoring in International Relations. Following a competitive selection process, the curator of the SCOLAR Bishkek hub, third-year student of the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic, Myrzabek Kamchybekov, was awarded the M.S. Imanaliev Scholarship for his contribution to the development of youth and academic cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
