Aizhamal Ibraeva Speaks at International Conference of Young Researchers

On April 22, 2026, SCOLAR Network took part in the International Conference of Young Researchers “25 Years of the SCO: Together Towards Sustainable Peace, Development, and Prosperity,” held at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.

During the plenary session, Aizhamal Ibraeva, SCOLAR Hub’s Coordinator, delivered a presentation titled “The Role of Youth Initiatives in Advancing the Shanghai Spirit: The Experience of SCOLAR Network.” In her speech, she highlighted the organization’s key initiatives and emphasized the importance of youth-led projects in fostering international cooperation, strengthening mutual trust, and promoting the core values of equality, mutual respect, and intercultural dialogue.

The event brought together a diverse range of participants, including representatives of the academic community, government institutions, and diplomatic missions. Among the attendees were representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, specific ministries, as well as diplomats from Azerbaijan, India, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Faculty members, students, and young researchers from universities across the SCO region also actively contributed to the discussions, creating a dynamic and international dialogue platform.

The conference addressed a wide range of pressing topics and special attention was given to academic mobility, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of best educational practices.
