Monthly SCOLAR Hubs Meeting

On November 16, SCOLAR held its Monthly Hubs Meeting, providing a platform for hubs to exchange insights and strengthen their understanding of project implementation processes.

The session began with a practical discussion on project management within the SCOLAR Network. Iining Fan, former Curator of the Bishkek Hub, presented the fundamental components of effective project execution, including the definition of a project, distinctions between local and cross-hub initiatives, and the essential structural elements necessary to maintain progress. She emphasized the importance of establishing clear timelines, ensuring transparency, distributing roles and responsibilities within the team, and preparing comprehensive reports that help preserve project outcomes and institutional knowledge.

The second segment of the meeting was led by Victoria Khu, President and Co-Founder of the SCOLAR Network, who provided guidance on effectively presenting SCOLAR’s mission and its core focus areas—Culture, Education, and Entrepreneurship. She highlighted how each local initiative contributes to the development and broader impact of the global community.

During the discussion, hub members posed questions, shared upcoming event plans, and provided updates on their team recruitment efforts.
