SCOLAR Beijing Hub is back with new projects and a new team! We are happy to announce our event “Youth of China” Conference.

The core focus of the conference? It’s you!
We are excited to establish connections with young people living and studying in China, who are willing to share their growth journey with us. We have invited five keynote speakers, each with rich experience, covering various aspects from international student life to sustainable business practices in China.
The location of the place is Ranzhang Garden, which is a beautiful garden in the north of Beijing with both indoor and outdoor spaces and picturesque nature landscapes. So that you will not only acquire new information and develop your networking web but also have a good time outside in relaxing summer weather.
What to expect?
We will have several sections of our event. Firstly, one of the SCOLAR Beijing Hub curators, Elizaveta Neliubina, and vice-curator Zhanin Fan will present the SCOLAR introduction and our team of organizers.
Then we will listen to the dynamic talks by our talented speakers, let’s finally know who they are!
Chao Wu, Alvin
Director of the Asia Climate Action Special Fund and Founder of Youth Promoting Global Sustainable Development Network. Bringing the topic Green Business in China, he will share some highlights on ESG, SDGs, Green technology, and how to grasp “the green” opportunity.
Mahya Mirsadeghi
Master student in Enterprise Management. Being a founder of “Leading Ladies Middle East” and Language Conference in Beijing, she will give a speech on “How to make the best out of your life in China as an international student”, explaining how to bear the challenges when moving to a new environment where you are not familiar with the language and culture.
Fedor Guryev
A student of the Beijing University of Aviation and Astronautics and chairman of the Association of Russian Students in China will talk about the creation of a community abroad on the example of his Association. He will cover such points as Student years as a foreigner in China, networking of the community abroad, and the reasons for rallying people while being in another country.
Sabina Safarova
A multilingual blogger and doctoral candidate, originally from Uzbekistan and now based in Beijing, is set to deliver a compelling talk on blogging and hard work, she will present the topic “Building a Successful Blog: The Role of Personal Values and Hard Work”. Such questions as how core values influence content creation and audience engagement; Stories of persistence and dedication leading to blogging success and the case study of the blogger trip with trip.com.
Jannat Bibi
Living in China for 6 years and getting her PhD now. She will discuss the topic “The Role of Youth in Addressing Climate Change and Environmental Issues: Insights from UNESCO Cases”, stating that climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and young people are leading the change to make a difference.
What can you gain from participating?
Besides the official part of the speakers’ speeches, we will move to the next part of our event. In this part, you can share your own experience and also make a dialogue with our speakers. We will arrange 5 discussion places according to each speaker’s expertise field, which are as follows:
1) Green Business in China
2) Life as an International Student in China
3) Creating a Community Abroad
4) Building a Successful Blog
5) Climate Change, Environment, and Youth Preparation
So, here everyone will have the opportunity to speak up on any topic they want simply by joining one of the five tables and merging into networking.
After the official part of the event, guests will be treated to snacks, good music, and informal communication among like-minded people from different countries.
