On December 21, SCOLAR Network hosted an online year-end event with all its hubs to celebrate the upcoming New Year 2025, reflect on 2024, and discuss plans for 2025. The event began with opening remarks from Victoria Khu, Co-founder of SCOLAR Network.
The event brought together hubs from Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei, Minsk, Saint Petersburg, and Tashkent. Participants shared highlights from their past events and discussed exciting future projects.
• The Beijing hub announced plans to recruit more volunteers for their upcoming events and strengthen collaborations with other hubs.
• The Minsk and Tashkent hubs will focus on recruiting new members, with the Tashkent hub planning to organize a Model SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) event.
• The Shanghai hub expressed interest in collaborating with the Hefei hub, particularly in promoting intangible arts and crafts through future events. They also suggested establishing new hubs in Hangzhou and Wuhan to expand SCOLAR’s presence in China.
An interactive game energized participants, with many expressing enthusiasm for more cross-border events and trips. Notably, a participant showed interest in establishing a new hub in Wuhan.
The gathering was both productive and engaging, filled with meaningful interactions and ambitious plans for the future. It marked a fitting close to 2024 and set the stage for a promising and collaborative 2025.
