On April 22, 2026, the Faculty of International Relations hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition dedicated to Chinese Language Day!
The organizers of the competition were the Department of Oriental Studies of the BSU Faculty of Economics and the SCOLAR branch in Minsk.
The competition is organized at the faculty for the first time. It was attended by more than 40 students of 1-3 courses of the specialties “Oriental Studies” and “Customs” of the Faculty of Economics and the specialty “World Economy” of the SIBD, studying Chinese and Japanese.
The prizes were distributed as follows:
The “Calligraphy” nomination
1st place – Anastasia Shvets, BB, 1st year
2nd place – Poltava Nadezhda, BB, 1st year
3rd place – Veronika Gladneva, BB, 2nd year
The “Painting” nomination
1st place – Anastasia Shvets, BB, 1st year, and Margarita Golod, BB, 2nd year
2nd place – Poltava Nadezhda, BB, 1st year
3rd place – Elizabeth Kulinich and Alina Kosacheva, BB, 1st year
