On the afternoon of October 13, 2024,SCOLAR Hefei Hub held an orientation event and ended it smoothly. The meeting was chaired by Li Xiaoxuan, a member of SCOLAR Hefei Hub. Olia,the member of SCOLAR HQ,Wang Wentian, the founding curator of SCOLAR Hefei Hub, Yu Yachen, the founding vice curator, and Ding Ruiqi, the media head in office, attended the meeting.
In order to welcome the joining of new members and help them better integrate, SCOLAR members prepared in advance, from the layout of the conference venue to the preparation of the special gifts of SCOLAR Hefei HUb, each work condenses deep care and expectations for the new members.
At the beginning of the meeting, SCOLAR Hefei Hub met with Olia, the headquarters teacher, online. Olia expressed her pleasure to meet everyone, affirmed the work of SCOLAR members and welcomed the arrival of new members.
In the second item of the event, the current Curator Pan Wanyu and Vice Curator Hong Han spoke on stage. Curator Pan Wanyu specifically introduced the SCOLAR Hefei Hub, hoping that the new members will bring their superiority into full play, show their talents, and build a positive and friendly SCOLAR Hefei Hub together. Vice Curator Hong Han welcomed the new members and said she was looking forward to their performance.
The third item is to share the experience by the previous members. Wang Wentian, the founding Curator of SCOLAR Hefei Hub, shared the history of SCOLAR Hefei Hub. From his words, the new members recognized the difficulty of the founding of SCOLAR Hefei Hub and the great significance of its establishment. Yu Yachen, the founding vice curator, shared his experience with the theme of “the creation of the organisation and the development of activities”. The third person to share was Ding Ruiqi the media head in office, who introduced her experience of growing up with SCOLAR Hefei Hub.
At the event, we invited Wang Wentian, Yuan Ruiling and other seniors to have a question-and-answer exchange with the new members.
After the Q&A exchange, Chen Wanting, Minister of the Office Department, Bo Ziyi, Minister of Propaganda Department, and Chen Junfeng, Minister of Liaison Department, introduced the specific work of each department and advised the future work of the new members.
Then an ice-breaking activity was carried out for new members to introduce themselves.The vivid and interesting self-introduction quickly brought the new members closer.
Next, the previous members Wang Wentian, Yu Zexu, Yuan Ruiling and Wang Yue were awarded certificates of office and took a group photo and mark the occasion.
Finally, the new member Yang Xingyu brought us a wonderful guitar performance.
After the event, all the members took a group photo, drawing a successful end to the orientation meeting.
The autumn wind is the prelude to a new chapter, and the carry the torch and sets sail again. The smooth holding of this orientation meeting gave new members a deeper understanding of SCOLAR Hefei Hub, enhanced the communication and understanding among members, and helped new members quickly integrate into the new collective.
