On November 11, SCOLAR HQ and Beijing Hub hosted a networking evening that gathered over 40 international and Chinese students and young professionals working and studying in Beijing. During the event, attendees had a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into SCOLAR projects and activities.

SCOLAR Co-founder and CEO Victoria Khu introduced the work of the platform across the SCO region, mentioned flagship projects such as Model SCO, Agora Youth Conference, and SCOLAR Academy, as well as talked about upcoming initiatives, including SCOLAR Translation Club.

Victoria also made an announcement regarding the upcoming XI Model SCO in December and officially launched the recruitment of the delegates. 

The World Youth Festival happening in Sochi next year was a highlight of the event. Participants learned about the vision, objectives, and impact of the festival which is going to become the biggest youth event globally, and also learnt about the application process. Applications are open untill December 1 and everyone still has a chance to apply through SCOLAR and get +50 additional points.

In addition to projects and initiatives, participants discovered the ways to join SCOLAR Beijing Hub through the presentation by Song Zhe, SCOLAR Beijing Hub Curator. Recruitment will be opened soon!
